Shaharit Golding. Born in Beersheva, Israel in 1982.
“My mom was working with a rugby couch and he asked her if she had any sons that would like to play. She answered: "My sons, never, but my daughter will!" So I started to play rugby in the boy’s team when I was 15. All my life I enjoyed doing physical things. In the army I was a combat fighter. Living in a society where everything is in a certain order, we need to have our little thing that makes us feel good, Rugby is that thing for me. I think it has something to do with some primitive instinct of hunting. I don't think there are certain things for man or for women. Do what is good for you, society will catch on.”
