Born in an air force base near Rehovot, Israel in 1963.
"As far back as I remember I was surrounded by airplanes and pilots. At 39, I found myself as a single mom caring for my dear father (an air force and El Al pilot) who was fighting cancer. I understood that I could not let my dreams wait any longer. I was working as a journalist and I started studying at night to become a pilot. Only after my first solo flight I told my father I was becoming a pilot. On his birthday I got my private licence and later I married my flight instructor. I am a better person on the days that I fly. I have the best office in the world, and with a great view! I get many surprised faces when costumers see a woman in the cockpit. Women can be great pilots because they can multitask and that is just what you need for flying!"
